La Crosse Radio Controlled Atomic Clock - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My Lacrosse radio controlled clock (IECLR6) has
Mine does the same thing. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me there's nothing I can do to fix it. They suggested I return it if it's under warranty (which it isn't). With no warranty they said there is no way to repair it.
I have the wall clock
The clock must be perfectly level - check that with a spirit level. If you don't have one then a wire with a weight attached should do.
When you swing the pendulum for the first time try to swing it at it's normal movement angle, if it's too high or too low the mechanism will not be able to sync with the quartz and the clock will not work.
I live in Florida. My atomic watch has worked
It could be a temporary, weather-related, problem, or it could be related to a number of other factors: new construction in your area, a new RF source (radio transmitter, cell tower, etc.) in your area, etc. Your watch contains a small radio receiver, and determining the exact cause for its failure to receive the WWVB signal is nearly impossible. About all you can do is try the watch at different locations in the home, and you may have to turn it to face in different directions. Mine, for instance, syncs best when hanging from a drawer and facing in an east-west direction.

We have an atomic clock with calendar and
Press and hold the SET key for 5 seconds. Press set key repeatedly until TZ is displayed on the bottom. Use the "+" key to set the time zone. -8 is for Pacific Time Zone, it will display -8 PST in the display. Press set to go to the DST setting, and so on until you've cycled through the options.
I have a battery operated satelite clock that
Successful reception of the time-synchronization
radio signal is indicated by a radio waves icon to the right of seconds in the upper section of the display. After synchronization occurs, you can select your continental U.S. time zone (EST, CST, MST, or PST) by means of a switch on the back of the clock.
How do you adjust the time?

copy and paste this link in your internet address bar in a new tab. (it is owner's/operation manual)

Outside temp not measuring correctly
I keep the outside unit of our in/out set under a coffee can shaded under a bench; one could argue the aesthetics but shielding it from wind and sun is mandatory otherwise one can get record temps pretty often.
The outside units generally transmit to the receivers only every few minutes to keep battery consumption down so moving them won't necessary gie you an immediate change.
How do i connect catv conveter onto a tv
There are a few ways to do that. It depends on the connections the tv and the converter have.
1st way is to take a coax jumper from the box to the tv coax input. Coax meaning cable wire that screws on like the wire coming from the outside to the box.
2nd way is to use red yellow white tri-cable, or audio visual cables if the tv has them as inputs, the color of the ends is the same as on the input ports.
3rd way is to use a component cable. These are the 5 connectors bunch which have 3 video and 2 audio and go to the same colored component video in.
Hands on lacrosse atomic clock won't stop spinning.
remove everything to get to the hands, remove the top hands only leaving the one, carefully apply crazy glue (tiniest sliver) to the hand where it meets the shaft. Adjust that hand for one minute after the current time. wait about 15 seconds between each hand. Apply the others remembering to set the others to the exact time. let it dry and you should be done.
Hands started spinning and won't stop. I replaced battery - still spinning
Remove the battery and replace with a new one. Just because.
Depress the tab on the back of the clock mechanism firmly (it pushes in a button beneath it) 22 times. While you're pressing the tab, the hands will begin to rotate. They will stop at 12 , 4 or 8 o'clock.
Place the clock in a window where it will be able to receive the radio signal.
Next morning the clock should have re-set to U.S. Pacific time. Press the on the clock mechanism that corresponds to your time zone and you should now have the correct time again.
Remote that gives outside temp does not work put
Pull the batteries out of the clock, wait a minute, and then put them back in. That will reset the link between the two. The temperature should be OK in just a few minutes. The clock will read the wrong time and date until it resets during the night. The next day, all will be well.
