LG DH504E GoldStar Dehumidifier Questions & Answers
Dehumidifier Error?
Same problem with Goldstar model DH404EY7 -- stop code 01 on startup, bucket full light blinks (drains to floor).
Replaced the main controller board to fix it.
For my model dehumidifer the part # is 6871A20888A, and cost $77.44 (not counting shipping) from
Appliance Factory Parts. The Appliance Factory Parts web site also provides parts breakdown (exploded parts diagram) diagrams and service manuals in PDF form.

Where does the drain hose
First look at the top of the collection bucket - do you have a garden hose adapter (they can generally stored in a spot on top of the bucket cover. If so you can use a garden hose. If not, you can buy a length of plastic or vinyl tune at a hardware store.
looking from the back - look at left side and you'll see a knock-out. punch that out and look inside to see the hose connection (generally black plastic)
or
take out the bucket, and look at the right side at the bottom of the "roof" of the area here the bucket goes. there is a small tube pointing toward the back of the unit - right at the knock-out
for my machine, I went to home depot and bought a 20 foot length of the right diameter vinyl hose and it drains into a floor drain - I never have to touch the unit expect to clean the filter

LG LD450EAL no power
Try resetting the GFI breaker, assuming it is connected to one. Also check the main breaker panel to make sure the breaker is not tripped. Unfortunately the electronic panels do go bad in these systems after a few years of service. Try resetting the unit. There should be a tiny reset button on the back. Also if the bucket is full it will not turn on, make sure it is in place and seated properly or it will not turn on. There may be a reset on the cord itself as well, hope this helps.
