The IBM Netvista should have options to change the language settings built in if you read the manual but generally, if you follow these instructions it usually works.Go to the BIOS utility and change the language:To run the Setup Utility program, use the following procedure. 1. Shut down the computer and wait for all lights go off. 2. Start the computer. 3. When the Setup Utility prompt appears on the screen during start-up, press F1. A Setup Utility menu will appear. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. 5. When finished, select System Summary to verify that any configuration changes have been accepted.

I bought a RegPro software and driver de

Slow Windows Machine! Sounds like not enough resources such as RAM and CPU. Check Performance in Task-Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE). High CPU levels causes hang ups like freezing. Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate. Consider increasing RAM. Uninstall any extras like those pushy toolbars, and add-ons.

Sound driver problum

When you download the audio drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true

Pisplay not shown

Display not shown? 1) Does the monitor show No Signal? If so go on. If not;Use another known to be good monitor, and monitor cable, on your desktop computer. Be aware that the problem may be the monitor cable.Or use your monitor cable, and monitor, on another KNOWN to be working computer. The monitor isn't receiving a Video Signal. Means the signal is not reaching the monitor. Could just be a bad monitor cable.2) If the monitor is good, and the monitor cable is good, the problem is the computer itself. The computer isn't working. You may see LED lights light up, hear fans running, and maybe even the Harddrive spinning.Problem could be the Power Supply.A) IF, all of the LED lights were on at once, they would use less than 1 Watt of power.B) EACH fan only uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.C) A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts of power. Just depends on what Processor it is.(Older Intel Pentium III processors, and AMD Athlon processors, use less power than 51 Watts)Not enough power? BIOS will not turn the Processor on.Solution is to test the Power Supply's 3 main voltage power rails, or use another KNOWN to be good, COMPATIBLE power supply, for a test unit. The 3 main voltage power rails are;A) 3.3 Volt power railB) 5 Volt power railC) 12 Volt power railTest is done with an economical Multimeter, set to DC Voltage.Post the model number of the IBM Netvista desktop computer. You will find it on the back of the computer, next to the Windows product key,(XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX), or up on the side of the computer tower.Post in a Comment.Regards, joecoolvette
