try descaling first it can do the job

My Saeco Primea Touch Plus is stuck in milk rinsing cycle. HELP

if the machine is ready to go and the grinder not start check to see if is not block the grinder blade and if not block change the grinder with the same voltage one 120V or 220V

once you start this cicle you let it to finish. until it doesn't finish it not work. you read what the machine say on display and it will work

The grinder is the problem. Inside the grinder is a white gearwheel. Change the gearwheel (cheapest way) or change the grinder and reset all errors from service menu.

try touching it with a pen like in strument rather than your finger it might make a better contact on the touch screen it may be your screen is on its way out you can get 2nd hand screens for these if thats the case

its the switches there is 2 one on top and one at the back the milk container is not making contact properly because the container needs realigning

Hi,Ive just recieved an email saying that your having some problems with your machine. Its hard to keep up with all the error codes on the hundreds of machines on the market. Faulty grinder usually dont give an error code. The grinder will just not work if its faulty, which tells me theres a problem with grinder. If your showing an error 1, i'd be looking at the steam heating circuit. Faulty thermoblock, thermostat, solenoid, etc. Anyway, something has led you to replacing the grinder, so ill see if I can help. Some machines need to be told that it has been fixed, which is done through the programming. You know when you go in to the cleaning program, thats where it may have to be told. The grinder also has other electrical sensors which maybe at fault. On one of the wires that connect to the grinder is a little square thing that sits in a holder on the grinder. It maybe faulty.(not common fault that part). The machine will usually reset itself when you turn it off at the main toggel switch, and unplug it from the power point. When you turn the machine back on, it will do a self dianostic before it starts to heat. but as I said before, the grinder usually isn't part of the self dionostic on start up. If you turn it back on and error code comes back up, id be looking at thermoblocks or thermostats. If your still having troubles, give me more details on how the machines full operation is working. If the grinder is at fault, everything else should be working. Thanks Darryn

Hi. On the back of the brew unit( unit facing inwards when installing) I think, has a SPOUT which moves up into the injection pipe when its brewing coffee. Well on this SPOUT is a tab that locks the brew unit inposition when your installing it. If that tab has been moved while cleaning, it will not allow you to install the unit. The SPOUT with the tab on it, only moves oh so slightly to be out of position. Dazza REPAIRER

Have you removed the white wheel and tried to clean it? Check the O-rings on the frothing part for damages.

Sometimes cleaning it hasn't helped at all, the solution for it that might sound crazy =) that fixed it for me at that time was to block the 2 holes with you fingers (be careful its hot) where the milk comes out from when you make coffee, you get a little back pressure in the milk circuit when doing it. Try 2 or more times. It helped me.

I had that error too, the very first day after i received my Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus from Germany. The curiosity is that the machine was able to prepare a cuple of cups and suddently died with 5 in screen. Going to the service, they said that error 5 is about a lack of pression in pipes, probably due to the unprotected transport to Romania. I don't know if they fixed alsi some jonctions, but i had to pay for few rings. Everything took a day in service, but now is working fine. Hope it was usefull and my english enough inteligible.

That means the grinder motor is not working, have to take it to the service center to replace it. However if it shows error one it is suggested to call assistance as per the manual.
