Computer shows blue screen and freezes up

Try connecting to another USB port and if that does not help try reinstalling the latest driver and if that does not help then your device needs to be replaced.

Earlier today I was connected

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can do so you can isolate whether the problem is with the router , the modem or your pc. 1. Disable / enable the wireless connectivity in your laptop.2. Restart the laptop. Then check if it is working. If not, go to the next step.3. Restart your modem and router by unplugging the power cord on the back of the devices. Wait for the devices to load, then check if it is working. If not, proceed to the next step.4. Try connecting your laptop to the modem directly by using an ethernet cable. If it did work, the problem is with the router. Its best to call the manufacturer of your wireless router if that's the case. 5. If step 5 still didnt work when you already connected your laptop directly to the modem, the problem is with the modem itself. Call your internet service provider and they'll do troubleshooting steps on their end too. Hope this was helpful! Have a great day.

I AM ATTEMPTING TO SET

It should be a wireless adapter that you plug into a USB port. It's only needed if your computer doesn't have built-in wireless capabilities. If you plug it in and your system asks for a driver it should be on the CD that came with the unit.

My daghters puter was hacked .. she lost all the drivers for the internet .. netopia .. i cant seem to burn it on my pc for her .. it keeps telling me to insert disc when the disc is in there

Start up the computer using the original operating system installation disk. Re-install all the drivers, and programs. VERY IMPORTANT to install a quality virus scanner. The paid ones such as McAfee or Symantec, or the equivalent are strongly recommended. The free ones are not usually well supported and they will not guarantee up to date tables. DO NOT install hacked, or pirate, or software hacks, Most of these carry Trojans. That is their catch. Take care of the web sites that are visited. Use common sense to keep the computer clean. There are some worms and viruses that can do permanent hardware damage. If this has happened to your computer, service will be required. Jerry G.
