Clicking sound on spin cycle

see this causes and fix it. God bless youLevel If it is shaking and not sitting flat ( should have no rock corner to corner) check the leveling legs. Make sure to tighten up the locknut after adjusting. Timer Sometimes a Timer will start making noises before they fail. I would highly suggest replacing the timer as soon as the noise develops. This can cause problems with your motor and other components if left alone. This is easy to identify just listen up near the console when running. Transmission The transmission does not usually fail but to check this on a direct drive remove the motor and rotate the inner tub and listen for noises it should be quiet. If not the transmission is expensive and you will need to evaluate wether it is worth repairing. Motor Coupler On direct drive machines this is a common failure and can be very noisy. To check and replace the motor coupler watch the video. Motor You will need to disassemble the washer to listen to the motor running. If the motor is noisy it will need replacing. On direct drive models check the motor coupler first. Suspension Rods The Suspension Rods support the tub under the cabinet on some models. The washer must be disassembled to access. These usually do not fail. On direct drive types there will be springs instead of suspension rods. Either usually fails but can from being overloaded. Drain Pump The drain pump can be the cause of noise. On belt drive types remove the belt and rotate the pump pulley it should spin freely and make no noise. If it is noisy replace. If it does not spin freely remove and inspect for obstructions if none found replace the pump. Check the impeller on the pump it should be tight and spin freely. On direct drive types remove the pump and inspect or replace.9_29_2012_11_23_52_am.jpg

MACHINE FILLS UP WITH TOO MUCH WATER WHEN FILLING UP

WATER WON'T CUT OFF WHILE FILLING THE MACHINE

This is due to the fact that the INLET valve is not working. Now this can be due to either the failure of the valve - keeps open - or failure of the control from the program controller unit. You need to use a multimeter to check the voltage to the inlet valve coil to confirm this. Also make sure that the valve is not choked and so is kept open.

Cold water not coming in

Possible that the cold water inlet valve is faulty and so the voltage to the inlet valve must be checked. If there is no voltage then the controller unit is faulty, if not the inlet valve is faulty.http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

When washer gets to spin cycle it will spin for 3 second then cut off, A few minutes later I hear a click inside the washing machine and it will try again

If there is smell that keeps on increasing then you must shut down the washer and remove power. Check on the motor , the capacitor to the motor and the main control panel. Since smell was noticed there can be ccomponents and so take care not to burn you fingers when you touch any part. Once this is identified you can remove and repace. if the heat was noticed on the motor, check for free movement of the spindle or it can be due to possible heavy load. Also check for inlet and drain valve pump to be faulty and have burning off the coils.

Unfortunately you are not likely to obtain an answer from the WASHING MACHINE forum- except for this one ;-0(
I would try re-posting if I were you.
Good luck anyway!

PS As it happens I bought a second hand guitar which also had a nut missing from one of the controls. Eventually managed to find a replacement from the 'local' music shop ;-0)

Hi.

Here a general troubleshooting for no spin problems : If you have no spin there may be different reasons behind the problem. Before advancing to

With top loaders you need to add to the list problems related to motor and transmission. Such problems will be at the end of the troubleshooting list, right before inspecting the electronic control.

With this model the more common failures are concerning drain system, lid switch and pressure switch.

Here parts.

Regards.

DLW330RAW The machine will work for

Something between the tubs causing drag on the wash basket. This would also cause slow draining problems that could burn the belt.Or some thing blocked in drain pump can cause slow draining burns the drive belt. Also see if any water leaking from the seal and that is coming on the motor, which is spinning the belt.If the motor is getting short due to water spilling on it,then motor will get overheated and that will burn the belt. Check pout, this possibilities.

Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

I don't know how to get the belt on the small

If the design of this unit is the water pump is in the front directly below the motor, you have to install one of the pump plastic legs between the belt. when installing new belt. There are torex screws holding the pump onto the motor. This is assuming your belt burnt off or broke and you are replacing the belt. The small idler pulley can be worked on by running the belt on the big pulley when reinstalling the motor Try not to stretch the spring for the idler pulley,
hope this helps
