Check the GFI plug where it plugs into the wall and reset it. Also, plug something else into that plug to make sure you didn't pop the circuit breaker

Drain is usually out the back of the unit on the bottom to drain outside

probably from the outside fan check for leaves touching the fan blades or unbalance caused by a mud wasp nest on a bade ( back side of a blade )

If that fan stopped your compressor overheated, shut off on thermal overload. Carefully cool compressor with water hose and restart. check to see if the compressor on the outdoor unit is running, if so it could possibly have a refrigerant leak or faulty 4 way valve

Hi Bowmunster, Sounds like it could be a couple of things - the run capacitor could have failed or the compressor has seized - having said that a wire could have burnt off the compressor terminals Good luck

Maybe the reboot did the trick - with lots of the electronics now on common appliances and gadgets, a reboot, as in computers, often does the trick. Continue to monitor so that if the issue re occurs you have it addressed under warranty.

Most likely one of two issues is occurring. Either the inducer fan is not providing enough draft because it is either spinning too slowly or the impeller is damaged, or the pressure switch that the inducer motor air flow is supposed to activate is not operating properly. If the pressure switch fails to activate, the furnace will not open the gas valve and fire the ignition believing that there is not sufficient draft the vent the combustion gases.
