Unplug the tv for about 1 or 2 hours,should reset it self.Replug u should get back to original factory setting.

The ITC 222 convergence option missing repair kit available at www.tvrepairworld.com usually will fix that issue. The kit contains the parts and CD with instructions

You got a bad capcitor then on the power supply. You need to change out the bad capcitor so the fuse will not blow. I would recommend just buying a new power supply to save face as with anything eletronics just reparing one thing as you did brings out new issues.

Any time convergence is not listed on Menu you have a open Fuse FL231 there is 3 of them in a roll on deflection Board on right hand side of FBT flyback transfomer Fuses are small brown rectrangler looking caps But are Fuses it will be the 1 in the middle of them you can take a pair of piers to pull top off it just snaps back down on top.This should fix your problem, repair cost in TV Shop 235.00

Selecting this option lets you lock and unlock parental controls settings
using a password.
If you do not lock parental controls, none of the settings for V-Chip,
Channel Block, or Front Panel Block will take effect.
If you forget your password, press the MENU button, then select Parental
Control (the password entry screen appears). Simultaneously press and
hold CH+ and VOL+ on the front panel for 8 seconds. Parental Controls
unlock and the Parental Control menu appears. You can enter a new
password by locking the Parental Controls again.
Front Panel Block
Selecting this option lets you block (disable) or unblock (enable) the TV’s
front panel. The remote still tunes to any channel. When using this as a
Parental Control method, remove access to any remote that is capable of
operating the television while you have the front panel blocked.
Don’t forget to lock parental controls after you change the status. If you
don’t, the front panel block will not take effect .if this don't work get back to me i've got manual good luck

you have to go into the menu,sometimes convergence is listed in the video section.
the chasis number is ITC222.
some had manual convergence then you have to adjust red onto green,blue onto green DO NOT MOVE GREEN
if it has autoconvergence activate it.do not do anything until its done.

If you have an AM radio/ other electronic device that is not well shielded close to some TV systems, it can also cause this type of sound in Stereos, turntables, computers etc... a lot of the time it is really easy to track down.
OR
You have a bad electrical ground in your apartment/House that needs to be checked quickly. Feedback is rarely a good thing!

P.S. you should always have your electronics all running off of the same ground via a surge protector of some type.

figured it out :P Press menu , then while exit is highlighted hold menu for a few seconds to enter the installation setup menu

you need to program it with the correct code for your tv. the user manual usually has a list of codes, and instructions.

a) try to replace the diode of the new board that is connected to the positive of the capacitor, using the diode of the former board

b) try to have a good capacitor use 50V instead

c) if you have a multimeter and a soldering iron, wire 2 pcs of

insulated wire and connect on each probe of the tester set at 50V

range on the terminal of the capacitor, and measure the voltages

1) when the unit is plug in

2) when you turn on the unit

3) when the unit is turning off

How are you doing? Here are few suggestions you can take to iron out the problem. Make sure you have power getting to the set. Check the outlet and the power cord, etc. Should be some light on the front panel. If not, you are not getting power to the set.

If it has power and will not activate at all it is likely there is a massive power supply failure. If the protection circuit has kicked in you should get a clicking noise when the power switch is activated.

In any event, RCA sets are not the most reliable in the marketplace and you must decide if you want to fix or replace. The minimum cost of repair will be $200 plus the house call. It may be much more. Set is only five years old - which is young for a big screen, but old for a small crt set. So, you will have to decide, but if it were me and I had the resources in the bank I would go for a new wide screen digital receiver and really enjoy some good video!

Go to menu then setup look for convergence if you do not see it listed you have a open fuse FL231 it is located on right side of FBT flyback transfomer there is 3 in a Roll small brown rectrangler looking caps but they are fuses it will be the one in the Middle.

sounds like you have a convergence problem my friend, if you are handy you can Google a kit with all the parts for your set and save hundreds of bucks!!!!
