Brand new Crosman model 766
The plungers inside may have dried-up or rotted over time as the gun is quite old.
Also, the seals and valves can start to leak, usually by over-oiling. Too much oil or the wrong type tends to gum-up the inside. The parts department at Crossman will send the parts and a schematic to refurbish the unit or you can ship the gun to them. It should cost around $10.
The following diagrams may help with the (dis)assembley. Parts for this gun are very cheap at the moment due to its age, so it should be repairable. Diagrams are
here.
Best of luck!

How to reassemble a crosman 357.177 pellet gun
Just visit Crosman's website and follow the link down at the bottom for the owner's manual. When you scroll down to the 357, there will be an exploded parts diagram. It's a it of a puzzle to put it back together, but I got mine back together. Just be prepared to replace the o-rings. I destroyed mine taing the gun apart.

Look up the correct model (it depends on when your gun was made) and download the manual. Once you've identified the parts you need, just call or email crosman with your credit card in hand and they'll get you squared away.
Crosman 2104 Air Rifle
i had the same problem with my 2100. you would have to take it apart. the barrel is held in place with a small allen bolt. you would remove the bolt and slap some locktight on it and retighten. that should solve your problem but i would think twice before taking it apart cuz its kind of tricky getting it back together and I would replace any seals while you have it apart. good luck
