How do you change the air cylinder

I recently purchased a rebuild kit for my 342. I bought the kit from airgundepot. It was the kit for the
392 and I modified it a little. On the new plunger, you have to drill a hole in the center of it the same
size as the pin's smallest diameter. You can use all of the parts in this kit except for the small o-ring. I think it sold for about 39 dollars or so. My rifle was manufactured in 1972 and it fires like new.

Take a short strip of teflon tape and put it over the end of the co2 cartridge, make sure its in straight and tighten, works good.....:)

Yes a new 0'Ring. And maybe a new seal kit. If it is a old pistol then check for other leaks.Hope this helps you out .Also I have a hand full of service repair companys. Joseph

if this is the air rifle i would estimate between $50 used.

try tighnening the screw or bolt that holds the pump on the gun

can somebody give instructions for the trigger instead of referring to the exploded parts?

It is likely some seals need to be replaced. I have had my 38 T for MANY years and have had the same problem. Seal kits are available, but not from Crosman. GOOGLE "Crosman 38 T seal kits" and you should be able to find where to order from. The cost is around$20+ for a complete set.Btw, the reply from Norsky812 is waaay off the mark about the BB's. You clearly stated you have a Crosman 38 T, this gun shoots PELLETS.

TRY PUTTING A LITTLE OIL ON THE SEAL ON THE PUMP LEVER . OPEN THE PUMP HANDLE COMPLETLY YOU SHOULD SEE A SEAL THATS WHAT YOU OIL.
