Netgear D7000 modem keeps dropping offline
Cordless phones, microwave ovens and wireless surveillance cameras between the modem and the device will do it. If it's hard wired to the computer, the signal strength from the phone company may be low. Call the phone company to have them come out and test the signal level that is applied to the modem.

or reset the unit
they apparently have a small hole that you put a paper clip into and push hidden button to reset the tablets settings to factory default.
With tablet back camera facing you there should be a hole at left bottom corner of back of tablet .
Press and hold this in with the paper clip or a tooth pick
unit should power down
then press power button to power back up
it should be reset to factory defaults

Netgear DHCP issue
It sounds like it's not configured to be a DHCP server. It should be a setting you can turn on. Login to the router. You may need to manually set your computer's IP to be in the same subnet as the router so that you can do so. The default address for the Netgear 7550 would be
http://192.168.254.254, so you'll have to set your computer's IP to something like 192.168.254.253, and then browse to the above address. Username and password are both "admin". If that IP doesn't work, try setting your computer's IP to 192.168.1.2, and browse to http://192.168.1.1, then look for a "DHCP Server" setting in the Local Area Network section, and make sure it's checked.

How do I get my password?
If you've forgotten the password to your Netgear router, then you're locked out from making any changes. The only way to recover a Netgear router password is to reset the device to factory default settings. You can then set a new password and recover your ability to configure the router.

I have a netgear readyNAS NV+ that i want to reset
Whether you bought a used Netgear router or just forgot your own password, you can reset it and start over.
This is not an unusual problem, so Netgear has made resetting and restarting their routers a simple task
Connect all of your devices.
If your Netgear router is not already connected, it should be plugged in, with one Ethernet cable connecting it to your computer and a second Ethernet cable connecting it to your computer's modem.
Locate the reset button on the rear of your Netgear router.
The reset button is a small inset button and requires a pointed object to reach it.
Use a fine-tipped pen to hold the button down for at least 10 seconds.
The test light should flash during this process.
Open your Internet browser and enter the Netgear router's IP address into the address bar to access the router's information. Generally, Netgear routers use the IP address 192.168.0.1, but the specific IP address will be listed in the router's manual.
Attempt to log in to the router with the default username and password.
The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password."
If the router's username and password were not cleared away, unplug the router and try holding down the reset button.
While you are holding down the reset button, plug the router back in.
Log in to the router using the default "admin" username and "password" as the password.
You can now reset your information, rename your router and enter your own username and password.

How to reset rangemax wireless-n 150 router?
Reset means that you will restore it to factory defaults which will delete all of the configuration settings of the router and will leave you not connecting to internet and wireless as well, but if you really want to reset it, just simply press the black button at the bottom of the N-150 router, press and hold it for at least 15 seconds. Once the lights on the router starts blinking, that means that it is successfully restored to factory defaults.

Low connectivity internet needs Wi-Fi range extender
As the complexity of the network increases and the area become wide, the speed of the Wi-Fi setup will definitely decrease. When you are having a low connectivity internet connection, you definitely need a Wi-Fi range extender to boost up the signals.
Moreover, detecting dead zones and remote areas in Wi-Fi setup become a tedious task. In such cases the devices to convert low connectivity in super-fast speed connection, devices are available.
Instead of going for antennas which keep changing their frequencies, it is better to attach the extender for removing the issues related to low connectivity.
One other way is to change the base device which is responsible for the Wi-Fi signal. But if the connectivity of the internet connection goes low only sometimes then this is not a very good solution. However, repositioning of the device can be a better solution. Take the device to a place in your network where the signal strength is maximum.
You should avoid placing your device in an open area where there are chances that the device might get spoiled.
If you have the doubt that the network is shared by your neighbors then change reset the connection and change the password. It is one of the common reasons for getting low speed.
At last, to enjoy better internet services, maintain downloading at peak hours and restrict the number of devices under the tolerance power.
