What do i do with the earth cable on my technics

If you are connecting it directly to a HiFi amplifier, connect the ground lead of the technics to the ground termination on the back of the amplifier.
If you are connecting to a Dj Mixer, connect the Technics ground lead to the ground on the back of the Dj Mixer.
Make sure the ground is connected securely and will not fall off. To check this, after connection give a light pull on the ground cable. If the lead comes away, reterminate (connect).

How to install shure m44-7 cartridge on technic sl

No, you should not need to install extra weights. Adjust the tomearm counterweight (on the back of the tonearm).
Install new cartridge.
Set tracking force dial to zero.
Adjust counter weight so tonearm floats vertically. This is the balance point.
Dial in tracking force, 1 to 3 grams.
If you cannot achieve balance point then you may have to add weight between the cartridge and the cartridge mount

Pioneer PL200 very low volume in one channel

its most likely a break in the rca phono leads coming out of the rear of the deck? maybe try jiggling them whilst playing a record to see if the sound comes on? if this is the case you could maybe locate by jiggling up and down the cable till you locate where the break is and cut of the cable, add a new phono by usung an electrical joint connector (the type electricians use to joint two wires via plastic connector with screws in?) and see if this solves it? failing that get the rca phonos completely rewired by a competent repairer? good luck

Pl 200 very low volume and where to hook up ground wire

Use the "mic" input on the amp. This unit does not have a "pre-amp"
It has a high-impedence output.

If your amp has a "pre-amp" input, plug it in there.

"mic" = microphone.

Technics 1210 MK2 - unstable/uneven speed problem

Since this is a direct-drive turntable, it isn't a slipping or stretched belt. You will need a technician with a couple pieces of equipment and some experience/training to find the source of the problem. I suspect the part(s) will be the minor cost of the repair.

NEED A BELT FOR MY DC SERVO AUTOMATIC TURNTABLE

You have to check an electronic store. If it does not have old one get a piece of string and measure around where the belt goes so you can know how big it is. Or you would have to order online, russell electronics sells all type of electronic belts you would have to search for a radioshack or another electronic store in your area.

Basically, have just bought 1210's mark 5's one of

i have this case now, i bought some mk2's. If u have a record that is single sided, put the side that dosent play on the slip matt, put the needle on it...add more weight if needed. it should stay where u put it, if it dosent...then it should be a case of moving the anti-skate, untill you are satisfied that it is not moving anymore. If u dont have a record like that, like i dont....i took the stylus off...and the slipmatt off...and let the cart run on the platter at 33, i hope it helps your problem, if i dosent then i would take it to a technician.

No power in either turntable

maybe the power source that goes into the deck itself has dissconected, but it is strange that niether would work...so im guessing the decks are fine...it might be your extension cable...or u have had a power surge, if that has happened...then you need to seek profesinal help...and unfortunally, your decks may have died. But check your plugs/extension cables...etc....it should be a basic problem, and easily fixable

How do i change the speed of technics 1210 mk2

if you take off the platter, then undo the plastic board covering and protecting the circuit board...then once you have access to the circuit board...there should be a little blue knob, usually located top right...its basically a matter of turning it untill you are happy with it, unless you have a little mark on the blue knob and the circuit board...if you or someone has done that, then that will be the master setting, of +8/-8 pitch

Pitch slider

usually, when you buy the pitch fader itself, then it comes with the circuit board. Ring up panasonic or a distributor and maybe they stock them, but im not sure why you need just a circuit board...and if u bought a pitch and it came without one, then just give a ring around...at least someone will stock it
