You can clean the drum glass first (rod should be attached inside the door for it). Small hole under the drum visible after taking the waste toner container out. Stick the rod with the spongy side of it in there and push it in - pull it out couple of times. ( :) )Other than that I#d change the drum or dev...it depends on the type of the "haze".Be sure you are using _original_ toner. If not, change developer _and_ toner to original - the copier might not able to calibrate by factory standards.

recheck all of your connectors on the board/panel...i have had one that gave me fits once & it was due to a connector not being completely plugged in snug

press the function key and go to scanner settings. Scroll until you see "job build and sadf" set this to yes and multiple originals will be one PDF.

You can get the postscript printer driver here, assuming your printer has the postscript option installed. Also other note is that this driver only supports up to the Leopard operating system (10.5). No drivers yet for Snow Leopard (10.6). The installer crashes when trying to install on 10.6

Ensure you have the current PS firmware and a PS key.

There are two Drums for this unit, one for black color ( DQ-UHN36K) and one for color (DQ-UHS30).

if it is failing at the printer, it is better you reduce the intervention rate for eavy card printing tasks, to be reduce as little as possible.
it is impossible to view the entire job queue from the web server or LAN.
so setup menu and fast scan so that they can return to their desk.

E2-02 means there is an error with the lifting motor assembly for tray #2. You will not be able to use your tray #2 until it's fixed. You can check it, sometimes there's just paper clogged at the rear of the paper tray. Remove your 2nd tray to see if there is a paper clogged inside.

Otherwise the cover/case of the lifting motor is damaged and you will need a service technician to fix and replace it.
