Panasonic FV-08VQL4 Fan Questions & Answers
I have a 3 year
Sounds like a loose wire inside the unit.
But, I would try this.
With the power off, both switch and circuit breaker, try and bend the center contact for the light bulb out; pull it out away from the back of the socket. This may be the bad contact. The center contact on the bulb touches this in order to get power up into the bulb.
Using a small screw driver, try and scrape the surface of this contact to clean it a bit.
DO ALL OF THIS WITH THE POWER OFF!!!
Hope this helps.

WIRING DIAGRAM
The light box in your ceiling should have two or three wires. Black and White, or Red, Black and White.
If you have two wires (one switch to control everything):
Black is power - hook this to the fan's power wire (and the fan's light wire if applicable)
White is neutral - hook this to the fan's neutral wire.
If you have three wires (two separate switches):
Red is power for the light - hook this to the fan's light wire if applicable
Black is for the fan - hook this to the fan's motor
White is neutral - hook this to the fan's neutral wire.
