Plantronics 330 bluetooth headset / Nextel Blackberry 7100i performance

After looking through the phones, there many possibilities, wow quite a few. It does not have any recommendations on headsets. The headset is only as good as the the quality you are purchasing. If your phone drops calls it won't be from the bluetooth device. I have a plantronics 360/R bluetooth. Need instructions.

The link below is for the user guide that has the instructions on page 4 on pairing the headset to your phone. Please bear in mind that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again.Plantronics Explorer 360 User's GuideGood luck from Headsets Direct!

New cell phone won't "see" bluetooth earpiece

The headset will automatically pair with the last device that it was paired with. You may want to remove that just in case. I am sending the users guide along with this. Also always start with the blue tooth turned off, the pass key is 0000 (four zeros).Plantronics Explorer 300 Series User's ManualGood luck from Headsets Direct!

Will not come on after charging

If you've gone through the turning on process without success, then to paraphrase Dr. McCoy (a.k.a. Bones), she's dead Terry. There are no special buttons to push or battery to remove. It's time to upgrade with a new headset.Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Re; Plantroncs 330 headset. Seems to lose charge

Unfortunately the Plantronics Explorer 330 is an older Bluetooth headset and the internal battery is probably just wearing out. Take a look at the Plantronics M20 (see link below), it would be a good replacement headset.Plantronics Explorer 330 HeadsetGood luck from Headsets Direct!

Recently headset has had an intermittent high

It may be feed back from the surround sound or speakers in your home, car etc. Try sitting away from them. If that does not work, delete from your cell phone and re-pair back to your phone. Hopefully that will help.Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Setting up headset with treo

Not sure which Palm Treo you have, but after reading through some of the info on the different sites it states that some bluetooth devices were easily installed and others were not. It may be one of the Treo's that may need an application to download an update. Some of these were released according to the information I read, that did not have DUN installed. Whether this has anything to do with pairing your bluetooth device, I am not sure. I couldn't find a spec page for your application. Usually it is just a simple matter of going to the bluetooth application on your phone and turning on your bluetooth headset. They find each other and you have success. I would recommend talking to Plantronics tech help line at 800-544-4660 x 5538.Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Cannot hear but people can hear me with 330, No sound.

This may be a broken or loose wire in your headset that prevents you from hearing them.Or the headset is not turned on. Press the call control button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep or see the indicator light glow blue to turn headset on. Your headset is out of range. Move the headset closer to the phone or Bluetooth device.Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Voice command times out -

If your phone has the voice capability's then you should be able to use it through your headset. If this was a plan you were using before a free app where it could be commanded by voice maybe it is over. However if your headset simply is not working I would try to return it the retail place of purchase if it is still under warranty, if not you can always talk to Plantronics tech at 800-544-4660.Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Headset won't stay connected.

The headset may not be pairing up correctly due to the difference in bluetooth applications. If you have a new telephone with the headset already paired up to the very first phone, it will automatically go to phone number one or the phone that it was last used with. If the answer is not in the users guide, you can try Plantronics tech line 800-544-4660.Plantronics Explorer User's GuideGood luck from Headsets Direct!

Is my plantronics 320 Compatible with nokia e71

This Nokia has v2.0 with A2DP, the bluetooth you are trying to pair up has 1.2 bluetooth. I do not believe that they are compatible. You need to have one that is the same or higher.Good luck from Headsets Direct!
