I cannot figure out how to hook this device up to

Make the Plantronics discoverable (put it into "pairing mode")
Master instructions at http://plantronics.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/plantronics.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=17509&p_sid=EEbxMesk&p_lva=8271
For the 330,
  1. Start with your headset powered off.
  2. Press and hold the call control/power button for 5 or 6 seconds until the light starts flashing an alternating red-blue (the Discovery 975 flashes an alternating red-white).
  3. Release the button and set the headset aside.
Now you are in PAIRING MODE.
On the iPhone, Go to
SETTINGS GENERAL BLUETOOTH
And then look in the DEVICES list for the device, which should include the model number.
Touch the device
Pairing should be automatic at that point. If you need a passcode, it is 0000.

My plantronics 330 is paired

If you would like for your Bluetooth headset to stream music or any other audio applications to your phone, the Bluetooth profile in both devices must support Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) for audio streaming. Unfortunately the Explorer 330 does not support this newer technology. I would suggest updating your headset to a newer model but remember your phone must also support A2DP. The Plantronics Voyager Pro+, Voyager Pro HD & the M1100 Bluetooth profiles support A2DP. I will include a link for Bluetooth headsets below.Bluetooth Headsets that support A2DPGood luck from Headsets Direct!

Maybe you should delete the pairing from your other phone, after that you just follow the directions on your phone. Make sure that the headset is fully charged. If you are looking for a Bluetooth to stream music, your headset must have A2DP programed in. Please see the link below for some examples of headsets with A2DP.Headsets with A2DP programmingGood luck from Headsets Direct!

With any device that has a Bluetooth application it will pair up with a bluetooth headset. You find the application in the tool section of your notebook, turn it on and turn on your headset. If you want to be able to stream music, you need a better headset, one that has A2DP in the programing. Please see the link below for a few headsets with A2DP.Headsets with A2Dp programmingGood luck from Headsets Direct!
