The deflection board needs replacement. You need the PSB260 deflection board available from www.tvrepairworld.com

Resolder the flyback pins as thats what causes the FL231 fuse to blow. Soldering the flyback should solve the issue you may need to replace the fl231 again

If you have the original remote to that tv, click on menu, then select set up from the on screen menu, then select convergence. you might see auto convergence as well as manual for blue and red convergence.

If you see Auto, select it, this will line up your tubes.

If no auto convergence, you will have to select each one, and follow the instructions to aline your tubes.

You have to press the hd zoom# or format or wide (or etc.) button on your cable tv or satellite tv remote. If that isn't doing anything then you might have your cable box or satellite tv receiver set on the wrong resolution for your television. Your television's remote might also have a wide or format button on it that needs to be pressed. Also make sure your television is on the right input.

Sorry but I've never heard of a DIGITAL ANTENNA, ALL antennas are ANALOG NOT DIGITAL, and yes you will be able to tune in some TV stations if you live close enough of TV stations that still transmit ANALOG signals, with a GOOD VHF/UHF antenna you can have good reception and viable TV time... (best of all it's FREE)

First to isolate the loose connection from fault, check the cable connectors from the lamp and the ballast board. Pull-out the cables and then re-insert. Also check the ballast board from bad solder joints (crack/cold/dry joints). This is hard to spot I would advice you to work in the brightest area or use table/portable lamp to locate it. Once found, re-solder it.
You have to check also leaky/dried electrolytic capacitor in the ballast board and its power supply. This will do the same symptom. You must have a capacitor checker because not all of it bulged/dome at the top.
Another parts concerned is the lamp itself. Once near to its peak burning life it will produced an intermittent fault like what you've experienced right now.
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't do the job yourself, I would advice you to look for a qualified technician to troubleshoot the unit.

Now from the symptoms u describe you are haveing a problem with convergence curcits... with these set the first thing you have to determine is you have the comon fl231 fuse problem. to do this read this http://www.fixya.com/support/r1062030-fl231_problem_convergence_not_in . if this is not your problem then you will have to determine which part of this cuircit is damaged.... do you have convergence setup options.... and can you manually and auto converge these.

I wouldn't. Fuses that expire must be replaced with the same type and rating as the original otherwise your safety may be compromised.

When you go to Menu then setup Do you see Convergence? I fMenu is listing convergence ,then wihTV off Press and Hold CH- and Vol- at same time hold untill Tv comes on,it will either reset Factory settings or let you in Service Menu.
If you Do Not see convergence the you have a blowed Fuse FL231 on the dflection Board ,it will be the bottom lefthand side Board and on the right side of FBT flyback Transfomer is 3 Fuses they are 3 in a roll,small brown looking caps,but are Fuses it will be the one in the Middle.

hello it sound like convergance problem go in to the menu on your tv and try resetting the convergance. if don't reset then the convergance ic need to be replaced hope it helps

I suggest this repair kit. It has all the parts that you need along with detailed instructions and pictures. Once you get it, go through it and if you still can't find the convergence ICs then let me know

The RCA R52wm24 most likely has a push in cord that is very similar to a computer monitor cord. Radio shack sell them over the counter. Also most TV shops will have them used and sell for a few dollars. WE do all the time.

It is the convergence module that needs change, that is what is causing the red green and blue to be out of alignment. You need to change the module.

Check power/deflection board for bad connections near/at flyback transformer.
