DVD/VCR connect to TV sound but no picture
I am sorry to say that this does not sound like a simple solution for your problem. It is hard to be sure without examining the situation but, If the video comes on breifly and, then goes away it sounds like something is heating up and, then opening up and, disrupting your video. It could be something in the stabilization. You will need to refer this problem to a qualified repair technician. If you want to keep the TV and, since it does work in TV mode I would suggest that if you want to use the RCA type jacks to connect a VCR/DVD or what have you that you get an RF modulator to connect thru the co-ax. This way you can connect your Cable/satelite to the co-ax connector and, your VCR/DVD player to the RCA on the Modulator. These are availible at radio shack and can also be found on ebay. I hope this helps at all.

Symphonic television has no sound
It's probably either a defective speaker, or something defective in the Audio Amplifier stages. If the set has an audio output jack, you could try plugging into a small stereo and see if that gets you by.
Hope that helps...

Hope this helps!
Most universal remotes also have a search mode. They work like this. Most want the TV turned off. Than press the button (TV) than press & hold the set button till the led comes on. Point the remote at the TV than press the volume + to increase. This will take you through the codes one digit at a time. Each time you press the + the remote moves up to the next code. This may take several minutest. Once the TV turns on press the set button again & the led will go out. That's it.
Remote Sensor Problem
Given that both remotes work with TV2, more likely the IR sensor on TV1 is defective.
The problem could also be in the microprocessor itself as well.
When I turn on my symphonic tv I just get snow and no sound
If you are seeing snow on your Symphonic TV screen, it could indicate that the TV is not receiving a signal from your cable or antenna. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the cable or antenna connection: Ensure that the coaxial cable or antenna is securely connected to the TV and the wall or source.
- Run a channel scan: Perform a channel scan or auto-programming to ensure that the TV is tuned to the correct channels and that it is receiving a signal.
- Check the TV's settings: Make sure that the TV's input is set to the correct source, such as cable or antenna. Also, ensure that the TV's settings are not set to "mute" or "no sound."
- Try a different device: If you have another device, such as a DVD player or gaming console, try connecting it to the TV to see if it is able to display video and sound.
If none of these steps work, you may need to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
