yes you have to wait til the warm red button goes off than punch in hours and than hit on. I cant figure out how to put it to low though! lol

Nope, If it somehow gets soiled,it gets wiped with a damp sponge after unplugging and cooling to a safe temp. No actual water.

if there is no timer then it will warm indefinately, this being a slow cooker will take some time to warm anything but will do so very gently.

Place the temperature setting on "Low".
