the rca jacks go to amplifiers and additional screens if you don't have those you don't need to use them .

he has to buy a mounting kit and wiring harnest for your car so it will fit in right. when he buys that there will be instructions that come with it. i hope this helps

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!

sometimes you have to format the songs and then put them on the sd card but if you allready did that your sd card might be junk and make sure the sd card you bought is for music some arent

what i did is i got a 4 prong relay. its gonna have numbers on it for certain wires. the 86 is for your remote wire and the 85 is for the parking brake wire. the other 2 are just grounds.this worked on mine so it should work for yours.

the safety trigger i assume is the safety device to prevent you watching the DVD when you are driving?

This is done by connecting the safety device wire to the hand brake connection. thus preventing the device working until you apply the handbrake

If you bought the correct cable it should work automatically. There are no settings. However, my 5300 was flakey right out of the box and I had to send it in for repair. It works perfectly now.

check the owners manual for the stereo and see what file system format you need to use on the flash drive i know i had the same problem when i changed radios worked on my old one but plugged into the new stereo wouldnt load had to unload the music and reformat the flash drive and then reload the music onto it that took care of the problem. where you have tried two different usb drives would say not likely you have bad drives
