Drain pump

follow this steps and fix it. God bless youDrain Pump Filter This is the most common problem. Some have a small cover in the lower front put a screwdriver in the hole and turn counterclockwise to remove. There will be a cover to remove, water will come out so be prepared with a towel or wet vac. Clean this out. Other Machines will need to access the drain pump to get to the filter. This can be done by remove back panel on some washers. On others you will need to remove the lower panel or complete front panel depending on model. The filter is located inside the large hose from the tub to the pump. remote the hose and filter. Drain Pump The drain pump may have failed. If you hear it making noises you will need to remove the drain pump and check for obstructions, broken impeller, or not spinning freely. Remove obstructions if it does not spin freely replace the drain pump. If you hear it hum replace the pump if nothing is found inside. If no noise is heard check the pump for power. To do this remove the wire connectors and connect a voltmeter turn to a drain cycle, refer to tech sheet or service manual for proper voltage reading, usually any voltage would probally indicate a faulty pump. If no voltage to the pump replace the main control board. Hoses Check the hoses from the pump by disconnecting them and make sure there are no obstructions. Check your hoes drain, if it is a slow drain this can cause your washer to not properly drain.

Washing machine not washing or doing anything!!!

Sounds like you don't have any water entering the machine, check that you have not inadvertently switched the isolation tap off. (Just because the tap looks in the right position, don't be fooled, if it the small plastic lever type, these can splay and appear to be on when the fitment under it is in the off position and vice versa, good luck.

Bosch Washing Machine will not execute Wash cycle.

The brushes in the motor are worn out and need to be replaced or there is a problem with the belt or pulley. This is a fairly easy job and much cheaper than buying the motor. Access from the rear panel. If the belt is OK, remove it and then unbolt the motor, disconnect the wiring and remove the motor. If you are unfamiliar with where the brushes are located, then find someone with a little experience to help pop the old ones out and install the new ones.

My bosch nexxt 100 series washer will not start. The spin, wash and finish indicator lights flash simultaneously when try to start.

Make sure dial is switched to 'off'. Unplug your machine, then plug it back in. Hold down the rinse and delay buttons with one hand. With the other hand, switch the dial from off to cold or warm or whatever cycle you want. All the buttons flash a few times, then just the start button flashes. If if doesn't work, do it again.

To get the clothes out if you are having trouble, open door manually. Near the bottom of this cover is a small hole. Insert a piece of wire into this hole, and push in gently. While pushing, turn the cover clockwise, it will came off. Bosch washer will not spin

Check the pump filter. This is located at the bottom front right of washer. Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean. Be prepared for a lot of water and junk. If you find a closed hose pipe when you remove the drop down flap it is to drain excess water. The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check if there is nothing stuck in the housing, especially after you are cleaning out your filter after a long time. Clean out and refit carefullyPl click if helped.

Will not spin

Plug off the power cord from the wall mains. I give you several alternatives, sort out thru the easiest: Note your brand and model. Check on YouTube for change of motor brushes. Then disconnect your motor and check your brushes; follow noting how you dis-assemble so you can re-assemble easier. If your brushes are less than half an inch long get new brushes (thru this very site Fixya) and refit; actually this is quite easy. The spin has a lot to do with worn motor brushes. Manufactures want you to dump machines and buy; it helps them all. Not you - you shell out bucks. If you have already cleaned out your filter, which is usually just under the tub (be prepared for a lot of water; and disconnect from the wall power socket), your washer still may not spin. So look into next para below. The tech sheet is usually taped to the body of the washer inside somewhere.Note your brand and model. Check on YouTube for change of motor brushes. Then disconnect your motor and check your brushes; follow noting how you dis-assemble so you can re-assemble easier. If your brushes are less than half an inch long get new brushes (thru this very site Fixya) and refit; actually this is quite easy. Thespin has a lot to do with worn motor brushes. Check the motor housing for an overload button, usually on the back and coloured black or red. Give it a push and if it clicks then the motor might have just been overloaded and shut itself off. There is a big connector located at the motor - giving power to the motor (located under the tub) to the right side, could be loose. Disconnect the connector and refit to make sure it is tight. Before refitting the back, etc, try the spin alone; if it works you are done. Click if helped pl, at my solution. I am doing this for the enviro. (& you)

Machine has a bad vibration on the way to high spin, once there all is ok

The shock absorbers may need greasing, Put a bit of grease (the thick motor type) around where the smaller diameter part of the shock absorber enters the larger part, the take of the lid (isolate from mains) and give a a few hefty shoves on the drum downwards to help the grease to work in. Excessive knocking on the lead up to full spin could also be caused by an uneven load, the unit as a whole not being level or the unit being located on a joisted floor which increases vibration.Hope this helps

Clothes in bosche washer gets tied up in knots in spin cycle

Are you running a load according to the care labels?? If you run delicate or easy care items on a cotton wash this can happen. Just because an item is 100% Cotton doesn't necessarily mean it will tolerate a cotton cycle check the care label. Also, if for example a cotton cycle is 6Kg, the easy care will be 3-4Kg, Delicate and woollens will be approx 2Kg. Overloading can cause items to knot during cycle. Finally, check that your inlet water is not too hot. Repost if you need any further assistance
