There is a white screen
Since so many different brands and models of laptops exist, specific causes of a white screen vary from laptop to laptop. The likely cause in most cases of a white screen on a laptop is a connection problem between the LCD screen and the video cable running from the motherboard. The issue can also reside strictly with the motherboard or the screen might contain a defect.
You can diagnose a white screen problem by opening up the laptop display case to determine whether a loose video connection on the back of the LCD screen exists. Reconnecting the video cable should resolve the white screen; a video cable reconnection that does not fix the white screen narrows the root cause to a problem with the motherboard or the screen.
"Motherboard Problems"
The only way to determine if the laptop screen turns white due to a motherboard problem is to test out a different, working LCD screen with the laptop. This requires the user connect the inverter board--the power supply for the LCD back light--and the video cable to the test LCD. If the test LCD works with the motherboard, then the laptop's screen needs replacing; otherwise, a new motherboard is needed because there is no way to replace an integrated graphics card on a laptop motherboard.
Thanks.

Do you at least send a "no solution found"?
Bruce,There are add on boxes that can do this for you , They atart around $100- to $500But most newer laptops may have an HDMI output that will connect to your TV. If your laptop is older it may have a 15 pin VGA out connection, some TVs have this input. So first thing is see what inputs your TV has and what outputs your laptop has. Older laptops have a composite output that will connect to almost any TV , but that would produce a low resolution picture not that great to watch. Post the models of both the laptop and Tv for more specific advise. Thanks I’m happy to help further over the phone at
