no but theres a fuse inside the door at the control panel,but a power surge on these usually ruins the units electronic control board

Just replace my door latch handle for the 4th time in 6 years. its very easy,,, you have the same as i do. latch and handle assembly i got from amana parts on the internet, # for part is W10130697. it is the same i think as a whirlpool part. call 877-827-5003 to order about 48 bucks. very easy to fix. Open dishwasher door and take out the tork screws ,you will see the latch with the 2 micro swithes on both sides, black on the right and white wires on the left. pull off the plugs , put the new door latch assembly in place and put the two plug bacl on micro switches, put back in all the tork scews and your set to go.... good luck... it is real easy.

Not cleanable.Must replace.But check them first. They don/'t fail very often. Also check the obvious.Someone might have shut water off. Check for voltage at the fill solonoid .If voltage available then replace. If no voltage , Check ,door switch and,waterlevel switch. If ok, look at timer or controller.

Try this first..
Go to your local Walmart and purchase a bottle of dishwasher magic.Follw the instructions on the bottle to clean the machine. in some cases this may take several attempts to clean out all of the hard water deposits...
Then use a product called Lemishine (about 1/2 full in the main wash receptacle and other half detergent) with a good powdered detergent this solves this problem 90% of the time.
If this does not help then further investigation would be required. Look for broken or damaged spray arms or anything the may be causing improper water flow.

how to align the door to center the latch

I was having a different issue with the same model but I think my issues solution might help yours. My dishwasher was not draining properly. It was the air gap that sits on top of the counter by the sink. It was clogged. We removed it and cleaned it out. Maybe if your air gap is slightly clogged as well it is not allowing the dirty water to flow out properly leaving you with gritty dishes. Hope this helps.

From what I understand, when it grinds, something has fallen into the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. If you can, look in the filter and see if anything is in there. Eventually, it should stop once the dishwasher has ground up what may/may not be in there. Hope this helps.

You might put that disconnected hose into a bucket at the end of a cycle and observe the flow strength or quantity; you may have a pump whose internal seals or blades are worn and not pumping with enough speed to finish before the timer shuts it off.
