We had the same problem less than a year after we got ours. After two visits from the repairman, and a better business bureau complaint, they finally told us that there was a small opening on the inside of the door that allowed steam to escape into the area where the main circuit board is housed, causing it to short out. Replacing the circuit board and running a bead of silicone along the gap solved the problem. Hope that helps some!

Dishwasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement.
