There is no software online, it was a 'one hit wonder' and it says the disc that came with it only contained drivers and Ulead Video Studio 7, Ulead Photo Express 5. Fairly typical on such devices. Not a very informative query. What camcorder ? What tape ? Is it the correct tape for the camcorder ?

You will need computer video drivers for your mystery video camera. Audio is easy because computers recognize sound.

You can't directly connect the JVC GR-AXM205 camcorder to a computer. You can connect it to a USB (or internal) AV video capture card.
