Unfortunately, the F60 error means that the video processing board (digital PCB board with the HDMI port on it) has a failure. Often this happens when the capacitors on the board fail. Replacing the board or the failed components on the board is usually necessary. Then plug it in after a few minutes. Then when you see the string of 0's, press and hold the power button. Then try to power up the unit normally. Alternatively, press and hold Stop and Hold while you power on the DMR-EZ47V. I hope this helps. On the timer record screen, move the cursor left to the 'date' field, and scroll down until the date disappears, and it only shows a day of the week. If it shows 'Mon', your programme will record every Monday.

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. Need to know what you have it connected to, and how it's connected (what type of cables, etc). Without that, it's just guesswork

First of all check that ALL the cables are plugged into the correct place, look for a small hole just under the DVD player. Very Small hole. Find a small round metal object that will fit into the hole & gently apply pressure & it should then open the DVD player. The only suggestion I can advise is try putting a cleaning DVD into the DVD & see if you can make it play this may be all it needs. Best Wishes. Malcolm.

The problem is probably in how your audio is liked up. Is the connection from DVD to TV via hdmi, scart, phono, RGB, optical? You need to check that the video link from DVD to TV and the audio link from DVD to TV are the same. Hope this helps.

It'll be in the menu system under disk burning somewhere or with mine it asks after burning if i want to finalise

I absolutely can't believe this worked for me, I'm so excited!! My error was RC3; my remote had an OK button (not Enter) for a Panasonic DVD/VHS recorder. I held down OK and the number 3 and the remote started working!! Thank you so much, I was getting very frustrated!
