Humming with vestax
hummm , does it also hum with the other gear shift out, especially tl and ledlights, if so it't a ground loop, but often is just the earth of the turntable not well connected
Clibrate pitch Vestax PDX d3S
It's a variable , since it's depended on more parts, but just clean it first and gently turn it until the platter moves correct, assuming you
mean to correct the variable resistor(potmeter) . If the value was everywhere the same, then you don't need a variable resistor:)
My vestax doesn't start at
This is a belt driven turntable. It is very possible that the belt between the motor and platter has either broken or slipped off.
Consult your manual for instructions on how to access and replace the belt. Since it appears it isn't even trying to start, it is probably not just slipping.
If the belt isn't the problem - you could see if you see the drive motor running when activated. If the motor isn't running, there may be a problem with the motor, tone arm or something else.
Hopefully, the belt is the problem. Good luck!
Vestax pdx 2000 loose to the touch deck
It is possible that the deck that feels loose is not properly secured to the turntable. You may want to try tightening the screws or bolts that hold the deck in place. If this does not fix the issue, there may be a problem with the bearings or the motor of the turntable. It is best to consult a technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
