I have a Denon 2309 and i hooked up a pre amp to
The iPod signal has to go to the pre-amp as well as the living room amplifier.. You'll have to move the iPod connection so it replaces the radio signal to the pre-amp as it does with the living room amplifier.
We were listening to music , cd , & a buzzing
If the screen lights up then shuts down this could mean it's going into safe mode the other option is that part of the power supply could of failed this is normally only a capacitor or resistor
Sound out sync
Is the source of the picture from the tv or an external source
I just hooked up my wii to my Denon AVR-2307CI
Most likely the VCR1 input in the Denon is set to a digital input, you will need to go into the setup for the VCR1 input and make sure that NONE is selected for the digital audio input. Also - make sure you did not plug the Red/White audio cables from the Wii, in to the VCR OUT, instead of IN.
My Denon avr-2307 have a dead LCD display
If you can solder, you may be able to fix this. Many of these that I have seen have poor solder connections at the display itself. Carefully open up the unit and locate the rear of the LCD panel. There should be a long line of connections. Check the ones on either end. These are the supply and ground connections. Quite often these connections crystalize and break. Resolder them and try the unit again.
Let us know if that resolves the problem.
Thanks,
Dan
I have Denon AVR-2307Ci and
I am not sure what type of tv you have but if it worked before, is the system still connected in the same manner? Also, have you checked the surrond selection and made sure tape 2 or monitor is not showwing? Make sure you have the connection going FROM tv's OUTPUT to the receivers TV INPUT.
Good Luck.
HDMI XBOX360 Elite -"No Signal"
The connection order can be a key issue as to whether or not the HDMI
signals will pass through the system. For best results the receiver
should be turned on first, then the source device(s) and then the
display. The reason for this has to do with getting the equipment to
handshake properly for the HDCP protocol.
If HDMI video will not pass through your receiver, you may with to just connect the xbox using the component cables. Since component will pass through 720p and your TV is 1080i you should expect the same qualtiy and a more crisp picture.
No display
I too have mine for 1 year and all of sudden it powers up for stanby and sound is produced but no display?
