Check if there are any software bundled with the installation of the driver. It should be under the "Programs and Features" option in the Control Panel. Look a Creative Labs software and uninstall it. You can also try creating a new Windows User Account and try installing the driver thru their. I cant get the front

So you have tried both Windows 7 and XP? I believe that front panel does have it's own power, are you sure it's plugged in? Please check, I have one of these in one of my computers as well, will confirm for you here.

After trojans my sound device is not found

1st you check is your sound card driver install properly. OR Check your is your sound mute from sound card driver. Go to the control panel Click on the System Icon Click on the Hardware Tab Click on the Device Manager then Double Click on Sound, video and game controller. There are list where you check is the sound card driver is available. If it is not available then Install the driver. Installation of Sound Card. Go to the control panel Click on the System Icon Click on the Hardware Tab Click on the Device Manager then Select the Multimedia Controller or Audio Control the yellow Question Marks sign on it. Right click on Multimedia Controller and uninstall it. After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes. Driver installation Wizard start. Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next. Driver will be install if the problem is still exist. Replace the sound card or have a local tech take a look at the sound card.

go install the old oct 06 drivers, yes there old but it solved my problems. mic boost start to work correctly again.

I need drivers for the creative labs sound card model CT4830 where can i get the drivers its an old sound card and dont have the disk i got with it any more

On windows the mic is disabled by default, you need to HELP NUMBER +1 833 272 0777manually enable audio in, either from control panel, or from audio card mixer.
