I can't connect my I P number 192.168.0.89 to my computer what is the problem?

First CMD black message box opens....then IPCONFIG/ALLthis will give all ip address's on the networkif you ping192.168.0.1 should be your router address ONLYyou should get sent(4) received (4) messageThis is sending a pulse to the address and listerning for a reply (like an echo effect)Make sure network card is installed and leads plugged in to correct ports from modem to ethernet cable etc......before you connected to net. Also make sure the network card is enabled for signal to interact properly,Make your ip address 192.168.0.50you can have up to 199 address's available for future expantion...network settings should be saved once added and machine will need a shut down & restart to save and embed them in its memory,if your ping gets threw fine check the network adapter stauts to see packets moving,ie , open internet page and surf, then look at packets sent and received.............

I have a lorex model

Hello
Not a whole bunch of info here on your problem. If there is a code to turn system off or on try using it to stop the beeping.
Something is in trouble,a open window door.Another possibility is the back up battery is no good.
You would need to find the battery in the main panel and take it out, check it with a dc volt meter it should read 12 or 24 volts depending on your system.

I cant get the cameras

Are you using a VGA monitor or a TV with composite video?

It is very common to have this problem with VGA monitors, you have to hook it up to a display with composite video and check the output resolution. This occurs because some of the surveillance systems do not support DDC and you have to set the resolution manually.

Let me know if this works,

Thanks,

KJB
