Hi Clifton - Make sure you have cleaned the unit's coils and behind the toe grille at the bottom/front of the unit. If the unit is not cooling, check to see if you hear or feel the compressor running. If you do not, contact a service professional immediately. If you do, and it is not cooling you may have a coolant leak or an issue with the internal sealed system of the unit and need a professional still. Try to clean it first however and make sure no vent on the inside of the unit is blocked by food items.

See if you have 120 volts at the compressor if you do do you hear any clicking sound at compressor if not replace compressor Start Relay/Overload if you hear clicking sound the compressor may be bad or Start Relay/Overload the only way to know is to replace the compressor Start Relay/Overload. If you do not have 120 volts at the compressor jump out the thermostat you should have 120 volts at the compressor now if not you may have a defrost timer Prob. if this is shelf defrost unit check timer turn knob to see if it starts.

You need to remember heat rises and cold air falls. The best way to load a freezer is to put meats on the bottom. They take alot longer to freeze and thaw and can save your stock if you have a power failure. Keep non-critical things like ice cream, ice, and other thing towards the top for quicker access.

Within your Frigidaire freezer the error code "FF" stands for freezer failure. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by either unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker. Once the freezer has come back on you should be able to push the "Down" button three times to start it back up.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Cars and Trucks!! This has all the hallmarks of a fridge that may be overloaded with weight, on an uneven floor with misaligned levelling feet. Cut a piece of 1" marine plywood 1" bigger than the width and depth. Empty the freezer and put it on the plywood. Level the feet using a spirit level left to right and a fore and aft. Make sure it doesn't rock. Loosen the door hinges and centre the door. Fill the freezer back up.
