make this test and fix it. God bless you1. Air gap / Drain hoses If there is an air gap (located in the sink, near the faucet), check to see if it is clogged. Unscrew the top cap and see if there is anything blocking inside. Note: If there is no air gap installed, the dishwasher might not drain properly. If the drain hose is clogged, the dishwasher would not drain. If there is an air gap installed, it is very common that a hose going from the air gap into the garbage disposer is clogged. Remove and clean the hose. Make sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher. Note: If you recently had a garbage disposer installed, it is common to overlook removing the drain plug. 2. Broken belt Some dishwasher models use a belt to drive the pump. Replace the belt if found broken. Note: Sometimes the belt would just come off the pump. Even though it might not be broken, it is recommended that you replace the belt, because it is probably too stretched out. 3. Pump Some models have two impellers inside the pump - one, wash impeller, takes care of the wash cycles, the other, drain impeller, drains the water out. If the drain impeller is broken (broken blades, shaft), the dishwasher would not drain. Replace any broken pump components. 4. Drain solenoid Some models (for example most GE dishwashers) use a drain solenoid to drain water out. Sometimes the solenoid gets stuck, preventing the water from draining out. Try to free up the solenoid. If unsuccessful, you might have to replace the pump assembly. 5. Motor If the motor is stuck, it is sometimes possible to free it up by manually spinning the motor. Replace the motor if defective. 6. Timer Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

LL64 Dishwasher 3rd and 4th lights flashing. What does this mean? DC

Please check if the pressure pump is clogged and the sparaying arms are rotating well. It is possible that the program seems to shut down due to an error. So start by clearing the inlet valve, check the flow to the pump and the spraying arms. Please check this link for tips to investigate:

Ariston LS 620 A Dishwasher

Since, the pump doesn't stop working, it sound like a water level switch issue. The switch level is usually a diaphragm device with a small clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. I am not familiar with this specific machine, but if you will open the rear panel you will find it easily. Clear tube first from any obstruction, In case it doesn't help, disconnect the wires from the unit (you should disconnect first machine's power cable !!!!!) and measure with a multi-meter on its tugs for continuity and disconnection while you are inhale and blow to its tube. In case it doesn't react, you should replace it. Good luck !

Hi, I have an Ariston

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If not the pump must be checked for clogging.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

I cant open the door

Hi,

Thank you for contacting fixya.com.

Pull the dishwasher out, unplug it. Look on the back of the top panel and there are screws. Undo this then slide the top towards the front of the dishwasher and it will lift off. In the middle front top there is a small plastic arm with one nut, undo this then the door will open. Then ascertain if you need a new latch mechanism. Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.
