My cursor was smooth and easy to draw with, but now it's all shaky and won't draw well!

the latest drivers have 2 modes...

1 open the driver control panel
2 at the top of the window double click the intuos3 tablet that is giving you problems
3 choose standard mode instead of recognition data

... this is at least what worked for me. I hope it helps.

Classic Pen Woes

Hi , Mnemosyne , i'm the Guest who had the exact same of your problem , i contacted WACOM and there solution was as follow : " This problem is, although uncommon, usually easily fixable. The first and fastest solution is to simply press the eraser a few times to release it from binding on the side of the pen. If that does not work, pull the white plastic nib, and take a fingernail file (LIGHTLY) to the back end of the nib, making sure to remove any burs or flaring from the nib. I have seen this problem myself, albeit uncommon " , they also suggested if all fails then change the nib ( and thats exactly what i did , i changed the plastic nib with the felt nib - i like it better anyways thats why i didn't bother filing the plastic nib - and WALA my problem was solved and the pen is working like a charm , hope this helps .

Hi, the cursor is stucked in left upper corner and

I had the same problem try reinstalling the driver and putting the driver on your desktop to save it since sometimes it screws up at weird times and its handy to have on there. Do not go to re collaberate tablet settings or try to put specific settings in for your computer it will make that happen. I had someone try to give me a fix and retry to reset the tablet itself but it made it worse and caused that. Mouse mode is disabled and only pen mode works for that. So try reinstalling it and not changing the specific settings for your computer its in another menue screen the main settings are fine to play with but don't do the tec stuff it screws up when you recollaberate the tablet to your computer or monitor settings.

How do you use the intous writing pad...what

You MUST get the "Driver" from the manufacturers web site. Download and install THEN & ONLY THEN Plug in the "Pad" As for use, well You will find it can be used with most MS software like say, MS, Paint, Word, etc, The "Pen" takes over the "Cursor" & you can use it like a pen. Also Wacom also will have suitable software to use it as well. Go to the Wacom web site. find your "Drivers/Software" download and install. http://www.wacom.com/downloads/

Wacom intuos3 led lights up for a second when

try wiggling the cable at the tablet end.

I had the same problem, seems like the contacts from the cable to the tablet aren't that solid.

After a few wiggles I got contact again (pc made sound : a new usb device was detected), I just taped the cable so it wouldn't move again.

The cursor stops moving.

I have found the same problem here. I use my plasma as a monitor and that interferes with the tablet when up close.

I also read somewhere it also can be your wireless router that causes the same problem. Perhaps using a different channel in your router preferences.

Wacom Intuos Pro continues flashing a single white light, and no longer responds on any computer or with any USB cable, is it the battery or the wiring inside?

Laptops are much more limited on the supply side for powering USB devices. This is limited by the operating system in the computer. There are some things that you can try such as a shorter cord if the cord is detachable. The cord length affects the voltage and that in turn affects the current. The OS then senses it a drops the connection. This is partly for safety and partly for battery conservation. For some time, that device was not recommended by Apple to be used for that matter. There was a bulletin issued on it but it appears that Apple did not do anything to change the situation.

My Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch has stopped working

Using Windows? Open up the Device Manager by right-clicking "This PC/My Computer" and select "Manage". On the left pane, click "Device Manager". Depending of the version of Windows you're running, the tablet could be listed under "Portable Devices" or "Mice and other pointing devices".Once you see it, move that window off to the side so you can still see the entry for your tablet. Now use the tablet as normal until it stops working. If it disappears from the list, you've probably got yourself a wiring/hardware problem. (My tablet's cable eventually developed a bad USB cable from years of moving around/use).Since the tablet itself still recognizes you after it stops responding on the screen, wondering if you may have updated the software/drivers lately (even by accident by clicking an "OK" dialog by rote...) - try "rolling back" the driver to an earlier version. If this is really new, any chance you could use Window's Restore function to go back a snapshot or two to when it did work fine? Always back up your important files (say, documents/designs etc) to another drive before doing anything. Good Luck!
