Good day

Have bad news for you, means your power pack or the mother board or the ram has blown, so here is what you do, remove the back covers of the laptop remove the hard drive, put the hard drive in another pc, or a friends, backup all your data,

take the pc to your nearest hp or whatever the make is support centre, to be checked by profesional it tech's, or you can open the laptop up, and replace the part a see which is not working anymore,

Really sorry to here what happend, but in the future make sure you unplug any electrical stuff from the mains when there is thunder, get a ups and a surge protector, it can also help protecting you from brownages, power spikes,

While many HP boards have audio built in, on some the connections are on the motherboard itself. I own one myself & found it much easier to buy a $7.00 sound card from eBay, that included shipping to my front door.

There could be many things that could stop the board from turning on, Determining what is wrong is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU, and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Also, if your going to load a ide drive, make sure you set your pin setting correctly on it. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the five elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first four with another to see if you get any change. Also, on the drive, try a different cable to make sure it's not that, If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. If after that and you have tested all of the components and they all work, then it's save to say you have a Dead Board

The information that you provided is not specific to the motherboard that you have. I'm assuming that your motherboard was manufactured by Intel. You will have more luck if you can find out what company manufactured the board and also the correct model number or name of the board.

However, most motherboard have a series of pins somewhere very close to the edge of the board and, this would be the edge that sits closest to the front panel. Most motherboards that I work with have a series of pins near the edges labeled "Panel". These would be the pins that you will use to connect the power switch, power LED light, HDD LED, etc.

Usually, there are even smaller letters that, if you look closely, label each set of pins for the appropriate connectors. Take a very close look along the edges of your board to see if you can locate these pins or the word "Panel" which would be written just beneath a group of pins on the board. Some boards even go as far as to label the pins for which connector they belong (for example, there will be maybe 2 rows of pins and some connectors will only use one pin, on one row while others may use 2 pins).

and after specifiying the OS download the drivers and burn a CD for future use.

If you mean that no fans or anything else spins, then it's probably that the power supply has died. I would suggest that the replacement be at least the same watts as the original or greater. Hopefully that's all it is.

check in the device manager if you do not find it then reinstal the driver for the webcam

please check the dirver of 845 is supported to this

It sounds like ither the processor may be bad, it could also be the motherboard

Apparently only drivers for Vista and Windows 7 operating systems are offered from HP's website for this board.

Besides a really serious failure, there are a few things to try...Remove the laptop battery, then hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Plug the AC adapter in, and leave the battery out. If the laptop starts up, you could just have a battery issue.

we see each casing have written cable knobe.as hdd/ reset/ power/ we join it on bord .there diagram on about this led/cable.2/ we give power to hdd/ cd room from smps3/ we join fan squire port on bord . fan port is written in bord. 4/we join data cablehdd/cdroom from on board.

Go to control panel then printer and other hardware then keyboard then hardware then properties and uninstall the keyboard shut down and then repeat above and install the keyboard. This should work. It worked for me. Ahh man **** fingers!!!

Check the fan on top of processor is running peperly by keeping the pc opend
