All my wiring was unplugged how do I connect it

Suggest download the Motherboard Manual from Asus Support, and plug it back in.The front of the computer is the Front Panel. You may have to remove the Front Panel, to see where the Power On switch wires are; plus Power On LED (light) wires, and Harddrive Activity LED (light) wires are. Most of the time the plug connectors, at the end of those wires; have a tiny abbreviation on them. Tells what they are.The Power On LED light, and the Power On switch, are usually located in the same area on the Front Panel(PWR LED and PWR SW)Usually you can see where the wires go, to the Power On LED light.By process of elimination, you know the other wires now, are for the Power On switch.[The Power On switch is located inside the plastic assembly, of the Power On Button. This is one example of an ATX power on switch,

http://www.directron.com/atxswitch.html

The kind used in a LOT of desktop computers ]The HarDDrive activity LED is usually located away from the Power On switch, and Power On LED light. It's wires should be easy to find. (LED light is usually Red)USB ports, Firewire ports, and front audio (Microphone/Headphones), have separate cables, and plug connectors that are different from each other. Most of the time, the same contact pins on the motherboard that are used for USB, can also be connected to a Card Reader. The power cable coming from the Power Supply, for the Card Reader; is the same one used in the old days for a Floppy Drive,

Asus Support > M2N32-SLI Deluxe > Main Support page,

Power cables from Power Supply to Motherboard:Look at the photo.1) At the bottom of the photo, and middle; is a white long connector that has two rows of 12 socket holes. There is a blue 40-pin IDE (PATA) connector, right next to it.This is for the 24-pin ATX main power cable. A general example of said power cable; and it's respective connector on the motherboard,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atxmain24

Note that color does NOT matter for the power cable connector. Also note the pivoting Lock on the side, shown in the middle photo, and photo to the far right. The Lock works like a see-saw on a playground. You squeeze the top in (Towards the wires), and this brings it's hooked end at bottom; away from the Lock Tab on the motherboard connector. When the power cable is deemed to be plugged tightly, and correctly; the hooked end of the Lock is over the Lock Tab, on the motherboard connector.[ Page 28 - Bottom (54 of 170) in manual ]2) From the white 24-pin ATX main power cable's motherboard connector, look up from it's left top corner. You have the squarish copper Heatsink with the white Asus on it.Above it is another finned copper Heatsink. To the left of that finned Heatsink is a blue PCI Express x16 slot.Next to the blue PCI Express x16 slot, is a white square 4-socket hole connector. This is where a 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable goes. General example of power cable. and it's motherboard connector,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atx12v4

Again, color does NOT matter of power cable connector. It also has the same type of lock mechanism, that the 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector, has. That's it for power cables TO the motherboard.Going back to the Asus Support page, click on the Download tab.(Overview / Specifications / Download / etc)You'll see the OS - Select OS - box.Click on the blue Down Arrow, on the right side.Click on WinXP.If you were downloading Drivers, or BIOS update, or other software; it would matter what Operating System you choose.Since we're just going for the motherboard manual, naa!Scroll down, click on the + sign to the left of the blue Manual (14)Scroll the INSIDE blue scroll bar down, until you get to the bold -

Version E2697 heading in the left column.M2N32-SLI Deluxe User's Manual for English Edition (E2687)Click on the blue Global. This is a Zip file. A Zip file is used to send large amounts of information, more easily. A Zip file is a compressed file, so it has to be uncompressed, or also said as 'unzipped'.Opening e2697_m2n32-sli_dlx.zipMake SURE there is a Green dot in the small circle, to the left of - Save File.If not; left-click in the small empty circle to the left of - Save FileNow go below in this small window, and click on OK.A small download window will come up.Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.In the next small window go to the far left, and under the Folder Tasks heading click on -Extract all files

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish. In the last small window DOUBLE-click right on the file name -e2697_m2n32-sli_dlx,next to the red Adobe PDF icon. There is your motherboard manual in PDF file form.[Ignore if you are aware; The PDF file page number box is at the Top, and to the right of the Down Arrow.Click on the Zoom In icon ( + ) to the right, to Increase the view size.Click on the Zoom Out icon ( - ) to decrease. The actual motherboard manual page, and the Adobe Reader page number, do NOT match. When I refer to a page number, it is for the Adobe Reader page number box, at Top ]Go to Page 4 - 2.2.4 Motherboard layout (It is also 30 of 170)Motherboard is shown in the position as it is, when installed in the computer case. (Photo on support page, had the motherboard turned 90 degrees to the Right)There are charts starting on the next page (5), that detail out the connector's name, and a page number for more reference to it.

More in an added Comment.

I just switched towers, reconnected

During the installation of your motherboard into the new case you may have accidently caused damage to the battery for the cmos ram. Try removing the battery for a few seconds and if possible check the battery voltage for 3 vdc. Re-install the battery or a new one after a few minutes and see if you can then get to the Bios Setup. Fortunately you have a board with CrashProof Bios.

I assume that you are looking for the ASUS drivers, utilities, etc. You can go to http://www.asus.com and select service, support, motherboards, and enter your data to get to your model and select to download drivers. If you are looking for an operating system install disk you have to go buy that.

I changed the battery on

You should press Delete to access the BIOS setting.
First you need to change the time setting.
Then you must change the Boot sequence from Removable Device to HDD where your first boot device will be your HDD which is where your Operating system is installed and the next thing your system will seek after the POST.

Hope this helps. Any vote is highly appreciated. Thanks =)

Ubwarcher07 ... No beeps, but there is not a hard

The system will not beep without an OS drive, but it will display a message on the screen indicating it cannot find a working operating system. The extra 12volt connector on the motherboard is for the microprocessor or Intel P4 chip. If your video card requires extra power it will have sockets on the card. If your power supply does not have the extra connectors you can purchase adaptors from www.CablesDirect.com, or you can upgrade your power supply. Is it necessary? I would recommend using the extra power connectors since it will help control the current flow producing less heat and damage to your system.

One Long and Two Short

go to asus.com and get to support for your board, check the beep code for the board. Google is full of chatter on this code. most say its a video card problem. if you can you should read some of the forums on this. there is just so much info on this that it would be best for you to read and try the different fixes. really there is just too much for me to list it all. most start with moving the card to another slot and then swapping the card with another. then to Ram issues then power supply

Odd PC Build Bootup Problem::

Instead of connecting you're fans to a single 4-pin molex on the power supply why not use the motherboards 3-pin molex fan connectors coming off the motherboard. See page 2.2.4 in your manual. Though I agree you should still be able to run 4-pin molex connectors to all fans off of you're PS. Allow the mother board to supply the 12v current to you're extra fans.

You're motherboard will supply the needed power. Less wiring will also allow better air flow through out the system and less strain to the fan controllers.

I have a series of 10 beeps every few minutes.

10 Short Beeps Your problem lies deep inside the CMOS. All chips associated with the CMOS will likely have to be replaced. Your best bet is to get a new motherboard. (for AMI BIOS)
