Can't read Kingston DTI/4 GB flash drive
you have to see in witch format is the stick mostly is FAT32 but normaly you dont need to format just when is some video on it,from my experience reinstal the drivers and i mean all.

Format write protected
You have to be the computers Administrator to change any
values on any Hard Drive on your computer.
Click
start control panel user accounts on the users tab click the name of the
computer Administrator you must have full control.
Click
start click to open on my computer you should see your Usb drive E: or
something
right
click select properties there will be an array of options select the sharing
tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this
folder box then click permissions.
Make
sure all 3 boxes are ticked full
control change and read in windows 7.
Click
start control panel user accounts click on the administrators account if you
have made one or you will have to create one in windows XP.
Click start right click on my
computer select open
Right click the icon of your Usb Drive
(It should be E:/ or something)
Click Properties in the menu that comes up
Click the Sharing tab
Click permissions
And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.
Click start click on my computer
to open you should see your drive
right click then select
format
another way

management disk management
Right
click on your usb drive select format.

4gb shows 2mb how to repair it
Click start control panel
Administrative tools Computer Management Disk Management
right click on your drive
select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two
boxes
Automatically fix files and
scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in one box then
select check now start then after its finished return and tick the other box
you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input
may damage this drive.
You might get best results
ticking in one box the returning after it has finished then ticking the other
box.
It might take some time depending on
the size of your disk but be patient.

you might have to alternate doing this repeatedly
until you find the sequence to get the problem is resolved
click start control panel
scroll to folder options view place a tick in show hidden files folders and
drives
this may vary depending on your operating system

Thumb drive not recognized
if the thumb drive is not recognizing in your system then connect to some other system if its visible there recovery your data from there in some other storage media. And if it is not visible in the other system also then to save and recover your data use data recovery software.

Usb problem
Is this problem occurring every time? If its first time then i would advice to format Pen drive . Yes if files are corrupted then in properties windows of pen drive its show data empty. Try to format.

I buy new kingston pen
Its due to corruptness of your drive.Your content not properly copied in pendrive. Dont worry just format your pendrive thoroughly not quick. Then you may copy your content properly. your problem will be solved...okay
