IBM infoprint 1622 - Photoconductor
When replacing a photoconductor on an IBM infoprint 1622 you must follow these following steps to reset the counter.
1. Open up the printer front cover and Install the photoconductor. 2. Close the cover. 3. Turn the printer off. Press and hold the 'Select' and 'Return' buttons, then turn on the printer. 'Config Menu' should appear on the display. 4. Press 'Menu' until 'Reset PC Cnt' appears. Press 'Select'. 5. Press 'Menu' until 'Exit Config Menu' appears. Press 'Select'. 6. Open the front cover. 7. Press and hold the red 'Cancel' button with the triangle on it for 3 seconds. All the lights should then cycle. 8. Close the front cover. The Photoconductor Maintenance counter is now reset.

If the printer is configured and has got a TCP/IP address, you can get the MAC mapping from any Windows PC in the same network like this:

Start -> Run Command -> enter "CMD" and press Enter -> type the command, PING ip.addr.of.printer (enter) and then ARP -a ip.addr.of.printer (enter).

If your network's IP addresses are centrally managed, ask your system administrator if it's possible to temporarily assign a fixed IP address for diagnostic purposes, then assign that address to the printer and do as described above.

Go to the IBM web site, select your printer model and OS type. Follow the onscreen instructions.

It should have been sent to pasture many years ago as it is 35 years old!

Check if they are on the wheel. They had a habit of spokes snapping off.
