YES! I had this problem and there are others here under humming.

Standing in front of the TV, make your volume zero.
Punch in --very quickly-- 9876
If it worked, it will open a new menu. Go down to the Backlight and enter. Move it up to 83 from 81.
Hit menu twice.

Now try it and see if your hum is gone! [I think I was starting to go deaf trying to hear the volume over the buzz!]

I will warn you to try it a few times. At one point it shut off on me in the middle and if this happens to you, expect the volume to be BLARING when you turn it on again. :-)

This could be a problem with weak signal strength of the channels in your area. You may need to get a amplified antenna to get better signal strength input into you television.You can buy these amplifiers already built into the antenna or use one as a add on to the input section of the antenna. You can manually input 073 with the remote when the remote is in tv mode and on one of the channels that you do get.

Then is the cables, find other cables, some other same to the t.v conecttion hole to plug the cable, my t.v have some of does problems from s-video cable connection.Or try and look for settings menu color.

Check the manuals and seen may be something.

Cables connection, it happens when the cables are no correctly connect, and that's the yellown. Or put another cables.

More often than not, the humming sound on any electronic device is brought about by the AC side of the power supply not only of the device itself but also all other equipment it is attached to. In your particular case, it maybe introduced into the system from:

• (coaxial) cable TV leadin;
• connections of DVD, VCR, game consoles and others;
• electrical noise from lamp dimmers, lights with electronic ballasts, wireless phones.

It is interesting to note, that the noise could be from other appliances plug in the same circuit as the TV, you of course could try plugging it into another outlet or branch. In some instances, you could even try filtered regulators similar to those used by desktop computers.

If using Coaxial cable from CATV box to the anolog antenna input, you need to be on Ch3 on the analog tuner, not digital tuner. If using a modulator, make sure its set to ch3 output also. If you are using RCA style jacks, you should not run a modulator. Make sure your TV input matches your choice of jack inputs in the back. Normally, I use the yellow RCA out of the CATV box to the yellow jack of AUX input on the back of the TV and the r/w leads to the aux input of the receiver. so you get Stereo amplified sound from any channel the CATV box is tuned to. If you have an AV switching receiver, it will have multiple inputs on the back and a single yellow monitor out that goes to the LCD TV. All changes if you are using a HD CATV box, that will have its own HDMI or DVI out and your LCD TV will have the same input, then you can attach the variable out or audio outs on the back of the TV to the receivers inputs, that way you have a little control of the audio level with your TV remote control (if using variable audio outs)

Circuit City is not providing support anymore, see if there is a factory support number on the owner manual and warranty paper.

I had to take the screws(2) out of the obvious position. It took a while but the two screws you need to remove and then reinstall are half way between the inputs and the two obvious screws.

make sure the scart lead is in all the way and check the pins to make sure some of them are not bent or broke
