Reset All
NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS
TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION!
If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds.
This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation
will be gone.....
IF that doesn't
work try to recover...
download the update
software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then
connect to the
computer Star the update
software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa hope this works.... Please rate
My mp3 wont be found
the fact that is you need to generate a system file in your player. this can be done by two things. if you are having a voice recorder in your player, record a voice and store it in your phone. or record an ongoing fm song in the player and save it. after this try connecting your device .and still if the problem persists reset the device. thanks for using fixya. please dont forget to rate my solution
System Manual
the easiest way to remove your equipment is to look for the icon at the lower right hand next to the volume icon. Go to the mp3 icon left click once and a prompt will appear (safely remove usb mass storage device or it'll have your mp3 players) and you're good too go.
GOOD LUCK =)
I can't find drivers
The manual states that Win XP doesn't need a driver. If you're running Win 98 or 2000 you can find the driver on their web site: www.gpx.com
How long does it take to charge
I have the MW3837 and it took about 4 hours to charge, brand new so no charge to start with. However I got two of them and they both appear to be junk. It looks like others are having problems as well. At this point I would certainly not recommend this one.
GPX MP3 PLAYER NOT WORKING RIGHT !!!
YOu said it at the beginning, don't ever buy electronics from fingerhut. Their kitchen stuff is pretty good. But that's about it. Sorry dude. I've never gotten anything replaced through them. They always forgot it.
GPX MW3837 trouble synchronizing
If you get the MTP on your screen and your trying to sync it with your computer just press and hold the usb/mtp button and your computer will reconize it [=
I plugged The MP3 in my computer tower, but ain't gettin nothing.
Try these:
1.) plug it into other usb ports. Some usb ports run slower than others. Some Mp3 players need the 2.0 type of usb port. Yours might only be 1.0 Which, in that case, get your driver updated.
2.) Go to My Computer and look for a picture of the Zen. Double click on it. Then Click 'Storage Media' .
If that doesn't work, Click Start. Click Run. Type in either D:/ or E:/ or F:/. This is the manual way of doing it. D, E, and F are the common names for external drives
3.) If it is the first time you have plugged it in, insert the CD that came with it. it will then take you through the setup and installation process
Hope this Helped!
It won't turn on
Don't flip the switch to on. Just leave it in the down position and hold the middle button and it will turn on.
