How do a veiw my library on my mp3
Plug your mp3 into the computer using your usb cable. Open windows explorer and click on drive "E". it might be different on different computers but a little playig around should find it. Then by trolling through it you should find all the files available on your mp3. Your problem was created by removing it from the computer without using the safety hardware removal. I still have not found a simple method to rectify this problem.

If you normally create a profile for your GPX on your desktop computer. Delete that profile, and then add back your GPX to your computer via the cable and it should work. I presume you are using windows XP?

MY MP3 PLAYER WONT RESET FOR SOME REASON
are you sure you deleted all the songs?I suggest you connect to your pc again ,open the folder where your music is and just try deleting one song.now disconnect and see if the song is still there , actually on the player. It's possible you disconnected before the pc had time to delete everything or that you deleted the files from your pc not the player.Did you get the usual message asking you if you're sure you wanted to delete and did it then show you a progress bar?
ILive IT188B - Not a problem, but a question as I
Yes, absolutely. It has inputs from which you can connect your TV. Its a nice box for the price. The remote SUCKS! Terrible key placement. However, you should be able to program the remote into another universal remote. Although, I have not figured out how to do that yet as ilive does NOT posts discrete IR codes or hex codes for the more advanced programmers.
Can't delete my mp3
I don't know if all MP3 players work the same, but when I load mine, the computer shows it as an additional drive. If yours works the same, look at your drives to see if you have an additional one. If you're not sure, try out all of the drives to see what's on them and then you'll know which one is your MP3 player..
You should see your music files. All you then have to do is delete them.
The IPOD may work a little different from the standard MP3 player, I'm not sure. I have never used an IPOD as I prefer to stick with cheaper no-particular-name brands.
What's the problem?
My non-specific brand MP3 player shows up as an additional drive. If yours does the same, look at all your drives to see if there is a new one there. Then treat it like an ordinary drive.
If I can't find the files ending with an .MP3 extension, I use the search function to find out where they are located.
Then I go to that directory and simply transfer (copy) the MP3 files to the player in exactly the same way as I would transfer from one drive to another.
Write protection
I had this problem too but when I changed button on side off of hold it works just fine I felt so dumb!!!
Why can't I upload songs onto my MP3 player?
It could be the USB cable or the USB port of the computer or it cold be the device itself. Try connecting the MP3 player into different USB ports of the computer. You might want to connect it into different computer aswell.
Try using another USB cable. If you get the same problem, contact the manufacturer for possible firmware upgrade.
