IT sounds like a corrupted Operating System.... Save your data and reinstall the entrire operating system, drivers and all. If your Computer has a "factory restore" function (saved O.S.and Software) activate that if not use "Restore Disks that came with Computer. If you do not have them, call Company and they will mail them to you.
See if it all works ok before you reinstall Skype and Firefox before you reinstall them
Need asolution for
To do dis follow dis steps....
1)Flipped the laptop back over and carefully removed the cover along the top (Where the power buttons is) by removing the three screws along the back of the laptop. You need to be careful removing this as it has small plastic clips that are very easily snapped. Once that’s off you can remove the two screws that hold the Keyboard in place. Lift the keyboard and release the catch on the Keyboard cable on the motherboard. Allows you to lift the keyboard away.
2)Then remove the cable for the LCD display and pull the wireless connection cable through the hole, Remove the screws holding the Display in place and remove completely, Store it somewhere safe as these displays are very easy to break.
3)Remove the 2 screws holding in the Power button board and lift it off. Again store it somewhere safe and on or in something antistatic.
Sometimes wont powerup, also has an Intermittent crash, Laptop has to powerup again.
Sounds like you may have bad RAM card(s) or a bad Ram socket.Thew ram cards are located on the bottom side of your laptop, usually accessable by a cover with 2 screws. If you can take off the door and gain access to the cards, try taking both out,and blowing on the sockets where they plug in,then try putting 1 back in and boot up the laptop to see if it does boot,if so,see how long it stays on without power off or crash. If it stays on,then, shut the laptop off, take the ram card out and try in the other slot and start laptop. If it boots up and does not crash, then the other Ram stick is probably bad.You can find that out by trading the Ram stick for the other one. Please let me know how you make out :)
Is there a fixya desktop app
There is no Fixya desktop app. Fixya is a website that works in your internet browser or mobile phone browser. There are apps available for iPhone and Android, but not the desktop.
