Use the HDMI cable on the Roku. The reason you don't have audio from the laptop is because the HDMI out on the laptop has no audio on it. You need to use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the laptop audio to the TV.

You may have to use the optical cable connections. Make sure there is an optical out on the tv and on the sound bar. Get an optical cable to connect them and go to the audio setup screen and direct the sound from internal speakers to optical out.

The board that controls the picture is under a metal cover in the middle of the screen once you have the back off. Replace this board to fix the TV

i have a 46" aquos and i had this problem on the first day i called and everything! but everyone said just to return and exchange but im pretty sure i will ge the same result i played around and i turned OPC "on" and it stopped flickering and stays stable butttt its really dark during night scenes. i love this tv so even though the night scenes are garbage im keepin it!

I'm sorry to say that you have a broken panel and the panel needs replacing. unfortunately this type of damage is not covered under any warranty and is considered misuse. time to buy a new TV.

Display matrix address fault. Can be from the matrix decoder circuit area, or the display backplane processor area, or the display drive ribbons. This is fixed by swapping out the matrix dive card, or replacing the display screen, or replacing the cables. You will require the proper tools, parts, and training to do this. It is an expensive repair.

I have fixed many sharp lcd tv's with a reset. If one appears to have no defects like bad capacitors, fried inverters, broken panel, ect. and the power light is flashing steady or not on at all a reset may help. There is a lot of bad information regarding the procedure though. The correct procedure is to unplug the tv, hold volume down and channel up at the same time and plug it in. Release those buttons then push the power button. Did it start? Great! I have no idea why so many seem to need this. If there truly is a problem this will only work temporarily or even momentarily but many will be fixed for good.
