Lens is not telescoping all the way out when you

Your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may need to be replaced, or the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

When the usb cable from the camera to my laptop,

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Enable date stamp

The camera won't deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them, but the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every photo in what's called the EXIF data. Almost any photo viewing/editing program should be able to show you this metadata. If you want to print the date with the photo, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and printer, you can print the information on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Hi. my problem with my camera is that my niece play with it and she pushed the lens mechanism while the camera is on. now, the lens was stuck and doesn't comes out anymore. when i'm turning on

Force it out like it was forced in. Try to rotate the lens. Remember it has to be off. As soon as the lens is half way out, turn the camara on and the lens will go to its position. If not, while the lens is out turn it left or right until it's back to its position.
Good luck.
