Usually 4 Blinks on this Model refers to a Fault in Power Supply or Backlight Inverter.On most Occasions, it is usually Backlight Inverter.There might be low voltage produced such as 10v instead of 18v (regular in bravia). In some cases the error code results due to failed backlight.

In rare cases, the backlight is not switched on due to a problem on the BDT-board.

I have just experienced the same exact problem with the exact same Sony Bravia LCD model. I have just fitted a new aerial in the hope that this would solve my problem but I am still not able to get any digital reception.
Have you managed to work out what was the cause of your problem.
