For all those in need - here's a schematic I drew up. It's got a fuse, and filtering (inductor / capacitor) - but the connector is a 4-pin MOLEX like you see for +12v on an old P4 board. Here's the problem - inside the adapter, they wanted to save 1 screw, so they grounded the shield to the holding bracket (which "touches" PCB ground sort of). Buy a 20c M4 sheet metal screw, 5c star washer you'll see a spot for shield ground on the PCB and housing inside the KS-BTA200. Ground that sucker right - my old one that went out works SOLID now :) (pass it on) Hopefully you can see the schematic, website is bogging down
