It is actually a 'Handycam Station' - it is a docking station for charging the battery. Your best bet is to try Ebay.

Invariably you cannot un-delete if you have already formatted the hard disk. It may be possible at the service centre if you have still not formatted the disk.

When files are deleted they still remain on camcorder hard drive and can be recovered, unless they have been overwritten by fresh data. The only thing to do so run a data recovery program to see what can be recovered. The only program I have tested is asoftech data recovery software and it had done the job well. download the data recovery from http://www.asoftech.com/adr/Select the drive where your files were deleted and then do a deep scan. It will find your deleted files.

Try too format the HDD on camera

maybe the HDD is full and you need to delete or download then delete any files on the camera OR it needs to be initialized A complete initialization
