Must likely your USB port is damaged. Check to see if it is. Also if you have another USB cable please try that. It could be the cable itself that is bad. If its neither one of those issues then your main board has an issue and will need to be changed.

the fault lays in the charger units circuits the only way to fix this is to purchase a new charger

It seems that the battery is not getting charged.This may be due to a defective battery or the charging IC ( Integrated Circuit ) is not working.You can try replacing the battery as it will the most likely reason why the player is not powering on when tried without connecting to a PC.

If the screen is WHITE, it's broken and need to be replaced.

Most zune 120s and 80 gigs with code 5 or 3 need major repair due to hard drive failed I see alot of them for sale.hard drives are not very cheap. seems to me that ms bought cheap drives.so send it in for repair or sell it.

zune...lol.ok..from what i know this microsoft failed experiment does not allow you direct access to your files and to do anything about it is to try reformatting and hope it will allow you to repopulate your media library, i may have limited knowledge about this because i sold mine for half the price i bought it for because its utterly useless, excuse my saying so

if you hold select and up at the same time for 20 seconds it should reboot.

you can try rinse it lightly and sticking it in a bag of dry rice for 24 hours. if not then buy a new one.

You must use Windows Media Player to download to your Zune...I tunes only works with Ipods.
