I am getting a white screen (no picture) on a polaroid LCD
People any lcd tv with a white screen cause by the T-con board if you have some experiences you can check with a multimeter the (smd) fuse on the T-con board it is right in de middel on top in the back of the tv. you might have to move some of the boards to get to it. if the fuse is broken replace it with another smd fuse otherwise relace the t-con.

Auto Channel Search places all channels in Skip
check the agc line from the tuner is functioning properly, if the agc signal , is not reaching the processor it will register that channel as being inactive and lock it out, there is not much circuit to contend with so a multimeter should do the trick to trace down the fault, you should find AGC marked on the board where the tuner modual is mounted.. i suggest obtaining a service manual to do the job good luck
