The scan function only works via USB, print and FAX are available via network and USB.

By "does not copy at all" do you by chance mean the paper comes out blank?
If so there are some things to check. First remove the new toner that you just installed and make sure you pulled out the long seal tape that holds the toner in the toner box.
If that is ok, then take the old cartridge and shake it from side to side a few times and re-install the old one back into the copier. Any change? If so then your new toner is bad. If they are still blank with both cartridges then you may have broken the laser shutter. Inside the port where the toner goes is a small plastic arm that opens a shutter when the cartridge is installed. These little arms can break and when the do the shutter door does not open and it blocks the laser light from getting to the cartridge and this causes the blank sheets.
Look inside the port where the cartridge goes up towards the top and look for a closed off slot in the black plastic looking box. The slot is about 1/4 high and runs from one side to the other. When found you can manually lift up the gate that has this slot closed off. Once opened you can take a small scrap of cardboard or folded up paper and block it open from the far right side. Do this if neccessary and re try the copies. If they come out fine then you will have found the cause. I have a few customers with this solution still working on their copiers for the last year.

...possible. go to the printer's website for trouble shooting answers. if nothing found on website, go to there contact page and write them, they may have quick answer for you. 2nd unplug printer and replug in-sometimes this helps.

Hi there ok Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

This depends on kinda network you have, Operating System and how is your printer connected. If your printer is connected to a PC with usb you will need to make sure it prints from there and then go to printer properties and share the printer. Then go to CMD on this PC and run ipconfig to find out your ip address. Once you have this go to the other computer that you are trying to print from and go to Control Panel and click on printers and then click on add a printer. You will need to choose add network printer and then where it asks for the URL or the IP you will type in the main pc ip address that printer is hooked up to. Finish the wizard and assign printer as default. Make sure that you keep your main pc on since you will not be able to print from other computers if main one is off. This is same for XP,Vista and windows 7 with just minor differences.

It sounds like a complete print head failure.
try cleaning the printhead with distilled water.re-install the printhead.it most probably fixes you r problem.
if it still doesnt work,
I think you have a clogged or broken purge unit. This is a key component in the printer. It's job is to **** ink out of ink carts down into the printhead and Prime the head so it is ready to print.. No suction, no ink, no print.

Try cleaning both of the ink pads by saturating them with warm/hot water, then close the cover and power it off. Wait 1 minute and turn it back on and repeat the hot water until you can see the pads coming almost white. Now run a Deep cleaning cycle and nothing else. Then open the covers and examine the ink pads. If you don't see fresh ink (Black or colors) then the purge unit did not **** any ink.

Have you checked the obvious things? Such as pulling the tape off the new cartridge? Also make sure the transfer roller under the toner cart. is in securely.
