I stay in acworth ga and i need a power cord for

Most power cords for TVs have become universal so to speak, just note whether your TV has 2 or 3 prongs on the back where the cord attaches to the TV, then you should beable to find it locally at places such as, Walmart,Radio Shack,Best Buy,Sears, most electronics stores. Good Luck !

If you replaced the power supply module due to bad capacitors or blown parts, it could have damaged the main board when it went out.

When we turn on the tv there is no sound coming

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound OK there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if the sound at RCA jacks is not OK, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit.

Picture will not always come on

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Sound got scratchy then tv

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The reason of scratchy sound is due to high voltage. Please check the swollen/bulged capacitors. This issue arises due to failed capacitor in the power supply or an IC.

If you are well versed in electronics and have proper tools, you can diagnose, test and replace the swollen or bulged capacitors in the power supply. If still the issue persists, then you’ll need to replace 1000uf 35v which you can buy from the Radio Shack or any other nearest parts store.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee
